Bulgarian Chronicles – The Myan Prophecy and the Bulgarian Anciant Calendar

The last night I saw on the History Channel a very interesting documentary about the Mayan Prophecy. A theory that the doomsday is coming on the 13th Katun (December 21, 2012) of the Mayan Calendar.

The authors of the documentary and the invited guests argued that the Mayan Calendar was the most sophisticated in the known history of the world, therefore, the prophecy should be true – the final judgment day is coming in less than 9 years.

See, I don't believe in final judgment days, Apocalypses, and similar mass fear theories, so the Prophecy didn't make any impact, didn't scare me. What made me very upset was the effort of the authors of the film to ignore any other calendar systems, and namely, the Proto-Bulgarian one.

The Mayans started their super civilization only 1000 years B.C., meaning more than 3000 years later than the Proto-Bulgarians already used their sophisticated calendar. In spite the fact that there were settlements 10,000 years BC in the same lands, where the Mayans created their civilization, nothing happened until 600 BC, when they suddenly started to build pyramids, use mathematics, astronomy, etc., just out of the blue.

What happened between the 10th millennia BC and 600 BC, and how the Mayan smarted up so brilliantly, to leave a superior civilization, including the famous calendar?

What is very interesting, is that the names of most of the Mayan
Pre-classical settlements, and classical periods, are ending in the word «can», like the Kukulkan, or «khan».

Guess what: Khan was the superior title of the Bulgarian aristocracy – from 6th Millennia BC till 9th Century AD. The forth day in the calendar (k'an) is also very similar to khan.

Itza – the name of the most ancient Mayan people, means in Proto-Bulgarian (itzhi, itzi) – holy. No wonder that the Itza people built one of the greatest holy buildings in Chichen Itza.

Many other parallels could be drawn. I leave that to the historians and linguists to sort it out.

What I want to underline is: we cannot believe in prophecies, drawn on insufficient knowledge of history or religion. It is time to start to recognize the achievements of people and nations, ancient civilizations, and contemporary cultures, no matter of the politics of the jour.

If we continue to ignore the diversity of the world culture, the contribution of each nation to it (no matter if now or yesterday this nation was considered “evil”), if we close our eyes to historical facts, the real doomsday will inevitably come – from the division, from the hatred, from all lack of respect to the other people’s knowledge and understanding of life.

Снощи гледах по History Channel много интересен документален филм за Пророчеството на Маите. Ставаше дума за една теория, според която денят на Страшния Съд ще дойде точно през 13-тия Катун (21 Декември, 2012) по календарът на Маите.

Авторите на филма и поканените гости твърдяха, че календарът на маите е най-съвършения календар известен на човешката наука, и по тази причина, ние трябва да повярваме, че пресказанието е вярно – денят на Страшния Съд ще дойде след по-малко от 9 години.

По принцип аз не вярвам на подобни теории за Страшни Съдове, за Апокалипси и други подобни плашещи масите «предсказания», и затова въпросното пророчество не ме впечатли много.
Това, което ме вбеси безкрайно беше усилието на авторите на филма да не споменат нито една друга календарна система, и по-специално прабългарската.

Супер цивилизацията на Маите се появява 1000 години преди Христа, тоест повече от 3000 години по-късно от времето, когато прабългарите вече са изпозували техния съвършен календар. Въпреки факта, че селища по териториите на маите е имало от 10000 години преди Христа, нищо не се е случило до 600-та година пр.Хр, когато маите, ей така, от нищото, започват да строят пирамиди, да употребяват съвършена математика и астрономия.

Какво е станало от 10-тото хилядолетие пр.Хр. до 600-та година пр. Хр., и как маите поумняха така блестящо, за да оставят след себе си тази напреднала цивилизация, включително и този фамозен календар?

Това което е много интересно, че повечето от имената на пре-класическите майски монумнетални селища, завършват на «кан», като КукулКан, или (кхан – според испанската транскрипция на звука).

Звучи познато, нали: Хан (Кана, Кан) е била върховната благородническа титла на българската аристокрация – от 6-тото хилядолетие пр.Хр. до 9-ти век сл. Хр. Четвъртия ден от месеца на календара на маите, също се казва «К ан).

Itza – името от на най-старото племе на маите означава на прабългарски (itzhi, itzi) – свещен. И разбира се, не е за чудене, че народът на Itza са построили едни от най-великите храмове в Chichen Itza.

Много други паралели можем да направим. Това го оставям на историците и лингвистите.

Това което искам да подчертая е че: не можем да вярваме на пророчества базирани от недостатъчно знание на историята или религията. Време е да започнем да признаваме успехите на народите и цивилизациите, на хората и съвременните им култури, без да се съобразяваме с поредната мода в политиката.

Ако продължаваме да пренебрегваме разнообразието на световната култура, приноса на всеки народ към нея, ако си затворим очите пред историческите факти, истинския Страшен Съд наистина неизбежно ще дойде – от разделението, от умразта и от липсата на уважение към другите хора и тяхното разбиране за живота.

because they were not Mongols, like they are telling you, neither Huns or Turks, but Indo-European with mystic cosmic knowledge.

in difference from the ignorant Italians, who in 1600 AD burned on the stake Giordano Bruno, because he insisted that the Earth turns around the Sun,

the Proto-Bulgarians not only knew that – it was carved on their tombstones – the Sun with the turning around 6 planets, which was for them something like their coat of arms (later, after the Christianization, the bogomils turn it into their sacra sign),

you see, back in 4783 BC those clever Proto-Bulgarians have calculated that the Earth turns around the Sun in 365 days plus a forth of a day, minus a little bit,

and they calculated this «a little bit» with an incredible exactitude: they compared the movement of the Earth with the movement of Jupiter,
and they concluded that the Earth turns around the Sun in 365 days and 2422 thousands of the day, which is only half second less than the absolutely exact astronomical time, measured today.

Based on their astronomical knowledge, the Proto Bulgarians created the most perfect calendar, known until now: the year started on the Winter Solstice (standing – still – Sun, web dictionary), that day, because the sun "stays" still, was declared as nil (zero), the rest 364 days were divided into four seasons, 91 days each; each season was divided into 3 months, the first month of the season being of 31 days, the rest - 30 days; this way the first month of the winter coincided with the winter solstice, the first day of the spring season – with the spring equinox, the first day of the first month of the summer - with the summer solstice, and the first day of the first month of the autumn season – with the autumn equinox. Every four years the leap day was added in front of the first day of the seventh month, in the day of the summer solstice, it was also a nil day, and the Proto-Bulgarians called it eni, now a day, in Bulgaria, we called it
Enyov Den.

Тъй че напразно вий се отричате от прабългарите, вика все по-ядосано унгарецът и си поръча третата ракия, ако има нещо свястно във вас, наследили сте го то тях,
Защото те не са били монголци, както ви разправят, нито хуни или тюрки, а индоевропейци със загадъчни космически познания.
За разлика от безпросветните италианци, които в 1600 година след Христа изгарят на кладата Джордано Бруно, понеже твърдял, че Земята се върти около Слънцето,
Прабългарите не само знаели това – издълбаното върху надгробните им камъни Слънце с кръжащите около него 6 планети е било нещо като техен държавен герб (по-късно, след насилственото покръстване, богомилите го превърнали в свой сакрален знак),
та още през 4783 преди Христа тези умни прабългари изчислили, че Земята се завърта около Слънцето за 365 дни и една четвърт от деня без малко
и пресметнали това «без малко» с невероятна точност: съпоставили движението на Земята с движението на Юпитер, те уточнили, че Земята обикаля около Слънцето за 365 денонощия и 2422 хилядни от денонощието,
което е с половин секунда по-малко от абсолютно точното астрономическо време измерено днес.

Основавайки се на тези свои астрономически знания, прабългарите създали най-съвършения календар, известен досега: годината започвала в деня на зимното слънцестоене, на 22 декември; този ден понеже слънцето стои, бил обявен за нулев, останалите 364 дни били разпределени в четири сезона, по 91 дни; всеки сезон бил разделен на три месеца, първият месец от сезона имал 31 дни, останалите два – по 30 дни; по този начин първият ден на първия месец от зимния сезон съвпадал със зимното слънцестоене, първият ден на първия месец от пролетния сезон – с пролетното равноденствие, първият ден на първия месец от летния сезон – с лятното слънцестоене, първият ден на първия месец от есенния сезон – с есенното равноденстрие. На всеки четири години високосният ден се прибавял преди първия ден на седмия месец . в деня на лятното слънцестоене, също бил нулев ден, прабългарите го наричали ени, днес го наричаме Енъов ден.
